Last updated on November 22, 2022 @ 4:53 pm

Bubble overlays are a great way to add some fun and personality to your photos. They’re also relatively easy to create in Photoshop. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a bubble overlay in Photoshop. First, open up your photo in Photoshop. Next, create a new layer by clicking on the “Create a new layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.

Then, click on the Ellipse Tool (U) in the Toolbox and draw an oval shape on your new layer. To give the oval a bubbly appearance, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and apply a slight blur to the oval. Now, change the Blending Mode of your layer to “Screen” and lower the opacity until you’re happy with the look of your bubble overlay. Finally, add a bit of text to your bubble overlay by creating a new text layer and typing out your message. Be sure to style your text using the < p >, < b >, and < u > tags where applicable.

Creating a bubble overlay in Photoshop is a quick and easy way to add some fun and personality to your photos. By following the steps outlined in this tutorial, you’ll be able to create your own bubble overlay in no time.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can easily create a bubble overlay in Photoshop that is too large or does not cover the entire image. Be sure to use a low opacity setting so that the bubbles are not too intrusive.
