How Do I Create a Wooden Background in Photoshop?

Wooden backgrounds are very popular in Photoshop. You can create them using a number of different methods, but the most popular is to use the Wood filter. To do this, simply open up your image in Photoshop and go to Filter > Render > Wood.

There are a number of different settings that you can tweak to get the perfect wooden background for your needs, but the default settings usually work pretty well. Once you’re happy with your wooden background, simply click OK and then save your image.
