Camera Raw is a Photoshop plugin that allows you to import and edit raw images. Raw images are unprocessed images that contain all the data captured by the camera.
They are usually larger in size than JPEGs and take up more space on your hard drive.
To use Camera Raw, open Photoshop and go to File > Open. Select the raw image you want to edit and click Open.
The image will now open in Camera Raw.
On the left side of the window, you will see a list of tools that you can use to edit your image. The Basic tab contains the most common adjustments, such as exposure, contrast, and white balance.
The Detail tab contains more advanced adjustments, such as sharpening and noise reduction.
To make an adjustment, simply click on the tool and drag it to the right or left. You can also type in a specific value in the box next to the tool.
As you make adjustments, you will see a preview of how they will look in the main image window.
When you are finished making adjustments, click Done. The image will now open in Photoshop with all of your changes applied.
The best way to learn how to use Camera Raw is to experiment with it on your own images. Try different settings and see what results you get. With a little practice, you’ll be able to get great results from your raw images using Camera Raw in Photoshop.
