PRO TIP: The artboard is a tool in Photoshop that allows you to create a canvas for your project. You can use the artboard to create a variety of different projects, including paintings, drawings, and illustrations. However, it is important to note that the artboard is not intended for photo editing. If you try to use the artboard for photo editing, you may experience problems with your project.

An artboard is a blank space in which you can create your designs. You can add multiple artboards to a single Photoshop file, and each artboard can have its own dimensions, color, and background.

Artboards are especially useful when designing for multiple devices or screen sizes. For example, you could create a design for a website that would be displayed on a desktop computer, and then create a separate artboard for the same website that would be displayed on a mobile device.

To create an artboard, simply click the “Create New Artboard” button in the toolbar. You’ll then be prompted to enter a name and dimensions for your new artboard. Once you’ve created an artboard, you can add designs to it just like you would add designs to any other layer in Photoshop.

When you’re finished with your design, you can export it as a PNG or JPG file by clicking the “File” menu and selecting “Export.” In the Export dialog box, select “PNG” or “JPG” from the Format drop-down menu, and then click the “Export” button.

The Artboard in Photoshop is extremely useful when creating designs for multiple devices or screen sizes. It allows for easy organization and export of designs.
