How Do I Make a Brochure in Photoshop?

There are a few things you need to make a brochure in Photoshop. First, you need a program that can open Photoshop files.

If you don’t have Photoshop, you can download a free trial from Adobe. Second, you need a printer that can print on both sides of the paper. And finally, you need some basic knowledge of Photoshop.

Now that you have everything you need, let’s get started!

Open up your Photoshop program and go to File > New. In the New dialog box, select Document from the drop-down menu and enter the width and height of your document.

For our purposes, we’ll use 8.5″ x 11″. Then click OK.

Next, you’ll want to add some text to your document. To do this, go to the Type tool (it looks like a T in the Tools palette) and click anywhere on your canvas.

A Type layer will appear in your Layers palette (if it’s not already visible, go to Window > Layers). Now just start typing away! If you want to change the font or color of your text, simply highlight the text with your mouse and use the options in the Character palette (Window > Character).

Once you’re happy with your text, it’s time to add an image. Go to File > Place and select an image from your computer.

The image will appear on its own layer in the Layers palette. You can move it around by clicking and dragging it with your mouse, or resize it by going to Edit > Free Transform or by using the Transform tool (shortcut: Command + T on a Mac or Control + T on a PC).

Now let’s give our brochure some color! To do this, go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation. A Hue/Saturation layer will appear in your Layers palette with a layer mask attached to it (this is indicated by the black-and-white thumbnail next to the layer).

Click on the layer mask thumbnail and use a white paintbrush to paint over the areas of the image that you want to be affected by the adjustment layer. Anything that is white will be affected; anything that is black will not be affected. You can also lower the opacity of the brush if you want a more subtle effect.

And that’s it! You’ve now created a basic brochure in Photoshop. To learn more about how to use Photoshop, be sure to check out our other tutorials.
