If you’re a photographer, chances are you’re familiar with the process of cropping images. Cropping is a great way to improve the composition of an image, or to remove distractions from the background.

But what if you want to crop an image in Photoshop without constraining the aspect ratio? In this article, we’ll show you how to crop unconstrained in Photoshop CC.

To crop an image unconstrained in Photoshop CC, simply open the image you want to crop in Photoshop. Then, click on the “Crop Tool” icon in the toolbar (it looks like a pair of scissors).

Once you’ve selected the Crop Tool, click and drag it across the portion of the image you want to keep. As you drag the Crop Tool, you’ll see a rectangle appear. This rectangle represents the area of the image that will be kept when you crop.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with the Photoshop software, do not attempt to crop unconstrained. This can result in losing parts of your image that you may want to keep.

When you’re happy with the size and position of the rectangle, simply release the mouse button. The portion of the image inside the rectangle will be kept, and everything outside of it will be cropped away.

That’s all there is to it! Cropping unconstrained in Photoshop is a quick and easy way to improve your images.
