There are a ton of different tools in Photoshop, and new ones are always being added with each new release. It can be overwhelming to try to keep track of them all, but luckily there are some great resources out there that can help. Here is a quick rundown of some of the most popular tools and what they are used for:

Lasso Tool – This is one of the selection tools and is used to make freehand selections.

Pen Tool – Another selection tool, this one is used to create precise selections by drawing paths.

Brush Tool – The brush tool is used for painting, drawing, and erasing. There are a variety of different brush tips that can be used for different effects.

Clone Stamp Tool – The clone stamp tool is used for copying pixels from one area of an image to another. This is handy for things like removing unwanted blemishes or objects from an image.

Healing Brush Tool – Similar to the clone stamp tool, the healing brush tool is used for copying pixels from one area of an image to another. However, it does a more thorough job of blending the copied pixels with the surrounding area so that it looks more natural.

These are just a few of the many different tools that are available in Photoshop. With so many options, it’s no wonder this program is so popular with graphic designers and photographers alike.
