How Do You Make a 3d Tree in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:09 pm

Creating a 3D tree in Photoshop is a relatively simple process that can be accomplished by following a few basic steps. First, create a new layer and then use the Pen tool to draw a rough outline of the tree trunk.

PRO TIP: This tutorial is outdated and no longer works with current versions of Photoshop. Use at your own risk!

Once the trunk is complete, create another layer and begin adding branches. To give the tree some dimension, use the Eraser tool to create some areas of transparency. Finally, add leaves to the branches and apply a drop shadow to give the tree some depth.

With just a few simple steps, you can easily create a realistic 3D tree in Photoshop. By using the Pen tool to draw the outline of the trunk and then adding branches and leaves, you can create a convincing three-dimensional image. Applying a drop shadow will help to give the tree some depth and make it appear more realistic.
