Wooden planks are one of the most versatile and attractive flooring options available. They can be used in a variety of settings, from rustic cabins to modern apartments.

Photoshop is a powerful tool that can be used to create realistic wooden plank floors. In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a wooden plank floor in Photoshop.

Step 1: Open a new Photoshop document and fill it with a light grey color. This will be our base color.

Step 2: Create a new layer and fill it with a dark brown color. Using a soft round brush, paint over the entire layer with this dark brown color.

Step 3: Set the layer mode to “Multiply” and lower the opacity to around 50%. This will create a subtle wood grain effect.

Step 4: Next, we’re going to add some variation to the wood grain by creating a new layer and filling it with a lighter brown color. Using a soft round brush, paint over the entire layer with this lighter brown color.

Step 5: Set the layer mode to “Screen” and lower the opacity to around 50%. This will lighten up the overall effect and add some variation to the wood grain.

Step 6: Finally, we’re going to add some shadowing to make the floor look more realistic. Create a new layer and fill it with black.

Using a soft round brush, paint along the edges of each plank. Lower the opacity of this layer until you’re happy with the effect.

Conclusion: By following these simple steps, you can easily create a realistic wooden plank floor in Photoshop.
