How Do I Create a White Background in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:57 pm

In Photoshop, there are many ways to create a white background. One way is to use the “Background Eraser” tool. With this tool, you can erase the background color from an image, leaving the foreground color intact.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, creating a white background in Photoshop can result in your image becoming overexposed and losing important details. Be sure to use a low opacity brush when erasing any unwanted background colors, and be mindful of the levels in your image so that you don’t accidentally blow out the highlights.

Another way to create a white background is to use the “Color Range” tool. This tool allows you to select a range of colors, and then delete everything outside of that range. Finally, you can use the “Select All” command, and then press the “Delete” key on your keyboard to delete the entire background.
