How Do I Apply an Action to Multiple Images in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 2:42 pm

There are times when you have multiple images that you need to apply the same action to. Photoshop allows you to do this easily with the Batch command.

This command will let you select a group of images and apply an action to all of them at once. Here is how you can use the Batch command:

1. Select the images that you want to apply the action to. You can do this by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on each image.

2. Go to File>Automate>Batch.

3. A dialog box will appear. In the Source section, select the folder where your images are located.

4. In the Destination section, select where you want the processed images to be saved. You can choose to save them in the same folder as the original images or in a different folder.

5. In the Play section, select the action that you want to apply to the images.

6. Click on OK and Photoshop will process all of the images.

PRO TIP: Warning: Applying an action to multiple images in Photoshop can be time-consuming and may result in unexpected results.
