If you have a picture that you want to put in a frame, but don’t know how to do it in Photoshop, here are the steps:
1. Open the picture in Photoshop. 2. Select the “Rectangular Marquee Tool” from the toolbox. 3. Use the mouse to draw a rectangle around the entire picture. 4. Go to “Edit” on the menu bar and select “Copy”. 5. Open a new document in Photoshop. 6. Go to “Edit” on the menu bar and select “Paste”. 7. You will now see your picture inside of a white document.
8. To add a frame, go to “Layer” on the menu bar and select “New Layer”. 9. A new layer will appear above your picture layer in the layers palette. 10. Select the “Paint Bucket Tool” from the toolbox and click on the new layer to fill it with color. 11. To add a border around your frame, go to “Select” on the menu bar and select “All”. 12. Go to “Edit” on the menu bar and select “Stroke”. 13. A dialog box will appear. Enter 1 for the width of the stroke and click on “OK”. 14. Your frame is now complete!
