How Do I Make Text Holographic in Photoshop?

Most people think that holograms are only possible with expensive lasers and lots of complicated equipment. However, you can actually create holograms using nothing more than a simple computer program like Photoshop. In this article, we’ll show you how to create text that appears to be three-dimensional and floating in mid-air.

To start, open up a new Photoshop document and type out some text. It doesn’t matter what the text says, as we’ll be covering it up with an image later on.

Once you’ve typed out your text, go to the “Layer” menu and select “Flatten Image”. This will combine all of the layers in your document into a single layer, which is necessary for the next step.

Now go to the “Filter” menu and select “Distort”, then choose ” Wave “. In the pop-up window, enter the following values:

Number of generators: 3
Amplitude: 150
Wavelength: 400
Horizontal Scale: 100%
Vertical Scale: 0%
Wave Type: Square Wave
Frequency: 1
Random Seed: 10

Click “OK” to apply the filter. You should now see your text distorted into a wavy pattern.

PRO TIP: The following article provides instructions on how to make text holographic in Photoshop. However, we caution you against following these instructions unless you are an experienced Photoshop user. Making text holographic in Photoshop can be difficult and time-consuming, and if done incorrectly, can result in a poor-quality or unusable image.

Next, go to the “Edit” menu and select “Transform”, then choose “Warp”. In the pop-up window, enter the following values:

Horizontal Bend: -200%
Vertical Bend: 0%
Bend Style: Arc Lower Right
Allow Distortion: Yes

Click “OK” to apply the transformation. Your text should now appear to be curved around an invisible cylinder.

The last step is to add an image to use as a background. For this, you can either use a photograph or a solid color.

If you want to use a photograph, make sure it’s high contrast so that the text will be easy to see. Once you’ve chosen an image, go to the “Layer” menu and select “Create Clipping Mask”. This will cause the image to be visible only within the bounds of your text layer.

And that’s it! You should now have a three-dimensional looking hologram of your text.
