Azure AD premium is a subscription service that provides enhanced security, compliance, and management features for Azure Active Directory (AD). Premium features include:

– Advanced identity management features, including support for multifactor authentication and Azure Multi-Factor Authentication

– Advanced auditing and compliance features, such as real-time monitoring of AD activity and the ability to detect and respond to unauthorized changes

– Greater control over directory settings and resources, including the ability to manage user access rights, configure directory replication, and manage group membership

– Enhanced reporting and monitoring of AD activity

Azure AD premium is available in two subscription tiers: Standard and Premium. The Standard subscription includes all the features of the Premium subscription, but with a lower limit on the number of users that can be licensed.

PRO TIP: Azure AD Premium is a subscription-based service that provides users with additional features and capabilities not available in the free edition of Azure Active Directory. These include:

-The ability to create and manage custom roles for granular access control.

-The ability to add an unlimited number of users.

-The ability to integrate with on-premises Active Directory deployments.

Azure AD Premium is best suited for organizations that need more control over their Azure Active Directory deployment or need to integrate with on-premises Active Directory.

The Premium subscription includes all the features of the Standard subscription, plus the ability to license an unlimited number of users.

Premium subscribers can also choose to have their subscriptions automatically renew, or to have them automatically cancel if their subscription is not used for a certain period of time. The Standard and Premium subscriptions are both monthly subscriptions.

Premium subscribers receive access to a number of additional resources, such as the Azure Active Directory Insights service, which provides real-time insights into AD activity. Premium subscribers can also choose to have their subscription automatically renew, or to have it automatically cancel if their subscription is not used for a certain period of time.

Overall, Azure AD premium provides enhanced security, compliance, and management features for Azure AD. Premium subscribers receive access to a number of additional resources, including the Azure Active Directory Insights service, which provides real-time insights into AD activity.

Premium subscribers can also choose to have their subscription automatically renew, or to have it automatically cancel if their subscription is not used for a certain period of time.
