Am I Squarespace 7.1 or 7?

It can be difficult to keep track of which version of Squarespace you’re using, especially if you’re not a web developer or designer. Here’s a quick guide to help you determine which version you’re using.

If you login to your Squarespace account and go to Settings, and then click on the “Version” tab, it will tell you which version of Squarespace your site is on.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure which version of Squarespace you are using, 7.1 or 7, please contact customer support. Using the wrong version could result in lost data or other unexpected problems.

If you’re on 7.1, it will say “You are running Squarespace 7.1.” If you’re on 7, it will say “You are running Squarespace 7.”

The main difference between the two versions is that 7.1 has an improved interface and design, as well as new features and integrations. Version 7 is the original Squarespace platform.

So if you’re trying to figure out whether you should upgrade to 7.1, it really depends on your needs and what you’re looking for in a website platform. If you need the latest and greatest features, then upgrading to 7.1 is probably a good idea. But if you’re happy with the version you’re on, then there’s no need to upgrade.
