As a freelancer, you are your own boss. You make your own schedule, and you are in control of your own career. But, that does not mean that you do not have clients. In fact, most freelancers have multiple clients.

So, can you call your client on UpWork? The answer is yes! You can absolutely call your client on UpWork. In fact, we encourage it!

Calling your client is a great way to build a relationship with them and to get to know them better. It also shows that you are invested in the project and that you are willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.

So, how do you call your client on UpWork? First, you need to find their contact information.

To do this, go to their profile page and click on the “Contact Info” tab. From there, you will be able to see their phone number and email address.

Once you have their contact information, you can give them a call or send them an email. We recommend calling your client as it is usually quicker and easier to get in touch with them this way.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about calling your client on Upwork, think again! It is against our Terms of Service to contact your client directly outside of the Upwork platform. This includes phone calls, text messages, social media messages, and any other form of communication. If you do this, your account may be suspended.

When you call your client, be sure to introduce yourself and explain why you are calling. For example, “Hi, my name is _____ and I am calling because I wanted to touch base with you about the project we are working on together.”

After you have introduced yourself, ask if now is a good time to talk. If they say no, ask when would be a better time to call back. If they say yes, then proceed with the conversation.
