Can I Convert Illustrator to Figma?

There are many reasons why you might want to convert an Adobe Illustrator file to Figma. Maybe you’re collaborating with someone who doesn’t have Illustrator, or you want to use Figma’s vector editing capabilities. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to do!

To convert an Illustrator file to Figma, simply open the file in Illustrator and choose File > Export > Export as... In the resulting dialog box, select SVG from the drop-down menu and click Export. That’s it!

Once you have your SVG file, you can upload it to Figma. To do this, open Figma and click on the + icon in the left sidebar.

Select Upload from the menu that appears and choose your SVG file. Figma will automatically convert it to a vector file that you can edit.

Can I Convert Illustrator to Figma?

Yes, you can convert Adobe Illustrator files to Figma format by exporting them as SVGs and then uploading them to Figma. This process is quick and easy, and it allows you to take advantage of Figma’s powerful vector editing capabilities.

PRO TIP: There is no direct way to convert an Adobe Illustrator file to a Figma file. However, you can export your Illustrator file as a .png or .jpg and then upload it to Figma.
