PSD is a file format specific to Adobe Photoshop. While Figma will allow you to export your design as a PSD, it’s not necessary in order to use Figma.

You can use our built-in tools to style text, as well as addeffects and manage layers just like in Photoshop. If you need to export your design as a PSD for some reason, though, it’s easy to do.

To export your Figma design as a PSD file, simply go to File > Export and select .psd from the dropdown menu. You can also choose what resolution you’d like the PSD to be exported at, as well as whether or not you want to include hidden layers in the export. Once you’ve made your selections, just click Export and your PSD will be downloaded automatically.

That’s all there is to it! Now you know how to export your Figma designs as PSDs should the need arise. If you’re not familiar with Photoshop, though, don’t worry – you can still use Figma to create amazing designs without ever having to export a single file.

PRO TIP: When exporting a Figma file as a PSD, there are a few things to keep in mind:

– The PSD file will only include the current frame that is selected in Figma. If you want to export all of the frames in a Figma file, you will need to export each frame individually.

– The PSD file will not include any of the Figma file’s layers or groups. All exported layers will be flattened into a single image.

– The PSD file will not include any of the Figma file’s styles or assets.

Can I Export Figma File as PSD?: You can easily export your Figma design as a PSD file by going to File > Export and selecting .psd from the dropdown menu.
