If you’re not happy with a Fiverr gig, can you get your money back?
The answer is: it depends. Fiverr does have a refund policy in place, but there are some conditions that must be met in order for you to be eligible for a refund. Additionally, even if you are eligible for a refund, Fiverr may not actually issue the refund if they determine that the gig wasn’t delivered as promised.
So, what are the conditions for getting a refund on Fiverr? According to the Fiverr Terms of Service, you are only eligible for a refund if all of the following are true:
- You contacted the seller within 14 days of delivery
- You have not downloaded or accepted the delivered work
- The seller has not started work on your order
- You have not approved any work delivered by the seller
- You have not made any additional requests that were not originally included in the gig description
If all of those conditions are met, then you can request a refund through the Fiverr Resolution Center. Fiverr will then review your case and make a determination on whether or not to issue a refund.
Keep in mind that even if you meet all of the criteria for a refund, Fiverr may still decide not to issue one. For example, if they determine that the gig wasn’t delivered as promised, they may choose to issue a partial refund or no refund at all. Additionally, if you request a refund more than 14 days after delivery, Fiverr will automatically deny your request.
So, can you get your money back from Fiverr? It depends.
If you meet all of the criteria for a refund and Fiverr decides to issue one, then yes. But if you don’t meet the criteria or if Fiverr decides not to issue a refund, then you’re out of luck.
