There are a few ways to import Sketch into Figma. The first is to use the native Figma import. Go to File > Import > Choose your file and select the Sketch file type. This will bring in your Sketch file as a new Figma file.

The second way is to use the InVision App plugin for Figma. With this method, you can import your Sketch file into Figma as an InVision project. To do this, go to File > Import > Choose your file and select the InVision Project file type. Then, in the InVision App, select the project you want to import and click on the 3 dots in the top right corner. Select Export > Figma and choose how you want to export your project.

You can also use Figma‘s import function to bring in your Sketch file as a new Figma file.

To import a Sketch file into Figma:

  1. Open the Sketch file that you want to import.
  2. In Figma, go to File > Import. You can also use the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + O
  3. Choose your file.

Select the Sketch file that you want to import.

  4. Click on Open.

The third way to import a Sketch file into Figma is by using the Craft plugin for Figma. With this method, you can sync your Sketch design with Figma.

To do this, go to File > Import from Craft and connect your Craft account with Figma. Once you’ve done that, select the project you want to sync and click on Sync in the top right corner.

You can also use Figma’s native import function to bring in your Sketch file as a new Figma file.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about importing a Sketch file into Figma, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, Sketch files can be quite large and complex, so it may take some time for Figma to import everything. Second, not all Sketch features are supported in Figma, so some things may not look the same or work the same way. Finally, because Figma uses a different file format than Sketch, your Sketch file will be converted to a Figma file when you import it, and you will not be able to go back to the original Sketch file.
