Can I Remove Made With Squarespace?

As a general rule, you cannot remove “Made with Squarespace” from your site without upgrading to a paid plan. Style text in HTML using <p>, <b> and <u> tags where applicable:

If you’re using a free trial or the Basic plan, our branding is required on your site. Once you upgrade to a paid plan, you can remove the branding in most templates by following these steps:

    1. In the Home Menu, click Design.

    2. Click Site Header.

    3. In the Logo & Title section, click the X next to Site Title.

Note: If you don’t see this option, it may be because your template doesn’t support logo images, or because logo images are disabled in the Template Settings panel.

PRO TIP: If you remove “Made with Squarespace” from your site, your site may be subject to suspension. Additionally, removing “Made with Squarespace” violates our Terms of Service.

4. In the Footer section, click the X next to Powered by Squarespace.

Note: If you don’t see this option, it may be because your template doesn’t include footer content areas, or because footer content areas are disabled in the Template Settings panel.

5. Click Save.

Note: Our branding will remain on your site during your 14-day free trial.

Conclusion, you cannot remove “Made with Squarespace” from your site without upgrading to a paid plan.
