The process of moving a domain name from one registrar to another—called transferring—is simple. You can usually initiate the process with your new registrar. They’ll contact your old registrar on your behalf and arrange for the transfer.
Once the transfer is complete, you’ll manage your domain name through your new registrar. Note that there is usually a fee for transferring a domain name.

Before you begin the transfer process, make sure that your domain name is unlocked at your current registrar. If it’s locked, you’ll need to contact your registrar to unlock it.
To transfer your domain name to Wix:
1. Log in to your Wix account and go to the Domains page.
2. Click Transfer Domain.
3. Enter your domain name in the box and click Continue.
4. Check the information to make sure it’s correct and click Continue.
5. Enter the Auth Code for your domain (this code is required to transfer your domain). You can get this code from your current registrar.
6. Click Continue.

Select whether you want to keep your email addresses associated with this domain or create new ones, then click Continue.
