Designing with Canva is super easy, even if you’ve never designed anything before. But what if you want to use your own font in your design? Can you upload your own font to Canva?

The short answer is yes, you can upload your own fonts to use in your Canva designs!

To add your own fonts to Canva:

  1. Download the font file to your computer.
  2. Unzip the file if it’s in a zip format.
  3. Double-click the TTF or OTF file to open the font preview.
  4. Click Install Font. This will install the font on your computer.

Once the font is installed on your computer, it will be available in the “Your Fonts” section of Canva.

“Your Fonts” is a collection of fonts that are only available to you. They won’t show up in the publicfonts library for other people to use, so if you want to share a design with someone, make sure you export it as an image or PDF.

“Your Fonts” is also where you’ll find any custom fonts that you’ve added to Canva. If you have a lot of custom fonts, you can use the search bar to find the one you need. Just type in the name of the font and hit enter.

PRO TIP: Can I Upload My Own Font to Canva?

Yes, you can upload your own fonts to Canva! However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Your font must be in TrueType (.ttf) or OpenType (.otf) format.

2. Your font must be licensed for commercial use. If you’re not sure, check with the font foundry or designer.

3. We currently only support Latin character sets. This means your font will only work for designs in English (or other languages that use the Latin alphabet).
