Can I Use 2 Domains in Squarespace?

Yes, you can use two domains in Squarespace. You can either map an existing domain to your Squarespace site, or you can purchase a new domain through Squarespace and use it as your primary domain. If you’re using a third-party DNS provider, you can also add a CNAME record to map a subdomain (like www.example.com) to your Squarespace site.

If you have multiple domains, we recommend pointing your primary domain to your Squarespace site and using any other domains as aliases. For example, you could point example.net and example.org to your Squarespace site, and then set up redirects from those domains to your primary domain. That way, all of your visitors will end up on your primary domain, and you won’t have to manage multiple sites.

PRO TIP: You can use multiple domains in Squarespace, but you need to be aware of a few things before doing so. First, each domain will need its own site plan. Second, you’ll need to set up DNS records for each domain separately. Finally, if you’re using a third-party DNS provider, you’ll need to set up vanity URLs for each domain.

If you’re interested in using multiple domains for different content areas on a single Squarespace site, we recommend our Developer Platform. With our Developer Platform, you can build a custom solution that uses our API to pull content from different sources and display it on a single Squarespace site.
