The process of using a GoDaddy domain with Weebly is actually pretty simple and only takes a few steps.
If you have a domain registered with GoDaddy and you want to use it with Weebly, you will need to first change the nameservers for your domain. Nameservers are essentially what tell the internet where your website is located.
By default, when you register a domain with GoDaddy, the nameservers are set to GoDaddy’s own. However, we need to change them so that they point to Weebly’s servers instead.
To do this, log into your GoDaddy account and go to the “My Products” page. Then, click on the “Domains” tab and select the domain you want to use with Weebly. On the next page, scroll down to the “Nameservers” section and click on the “Change” button.
On the next page, select the “Custom” option and then enter the following two nameservers:
- NS1.Weebly.COM
- NS2.COM
Then, click on the “Save” button and you’re all set! It can sometimes take a few hours for the changes to propagate across the internet but after that, your domain should be working with Weebly.
