Can Sellers Review Buyers on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:19 pm

As a top-rated seller on Fiverr, I often get asked whether sellers can review buyers. The answer is no, we cannot review buyers on Fiverr.

This is a common question that I get asked, and it’s one that makes perfect sense to ask. After all, if you’re a buyer on Fiverr, you have the ability to leave a review for the seller once the gig is complete. So why shouldn’t sellers have the same ability?

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Fiverr to sell your services, be aware that buyers can leave reviews of your work – and these reviews can be seen by other potential buyers. While most reviews are positive, there is always the potential for a negative review that could damage your reputation.

The main reason why sellers cannot review buyers on Fiverr is because it would create an imbalance of power. If sellers could leave reviews for buyers, then buyers would be far more likely to choose gigs from sellers who had positive reviews. This would give an unfair advantage to those sellers who already have positive reviews, and it would make it much harder for new sellers to get started on Fiverr.

In addition, allowing sellers to review buyers could also lead to some abuse. There have been cases of buyers leaving negative reviews for sellers even though the gig was completed satisfactorily. If sellers could leave reviews for buyers, then they might be tempted to retaliate by leaving negative reviews of their own, even if the buyer was actually happy with the gig.

Overall, it’s best for everyone if sellers cannot review buyers on Fiverr. This system helps to keep things fair and balanced, and it protects both buyers and sellers from potential abuse.
