Can Squarespace Do Monthly Donations?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:38 am

There are a number of website builders out there, but one that has been gaining a lot of popularity lately is Squarespace. One of the things that makes Squarespace so popular is that it is extremely easy to use. You can create a beautiful website without having any prior experience or knowledge of coding. Squarespace also offers a lot of features that other website builders don’t. For example, you can sell products on your Squarespace website, and you can also use it to accept donations.

So, can Squarespace do monthly donations?

The short answer is yes! You can use Squarespace to accept recurring donations from your supporters. This is a great way to increase the amount of money you raise, as it allows your supporters to make small monthly donations instead of one-time gifts. Plus, it’s easy to set up and manage your recurring donation campaign on Squarespace. In this article, we’ll show you how to do it.

1) Log in to your Squarespace account and go to the Donations page

First, you’ll need to log in to your Squarespace account and go to the Donations page. You can find this page by hovering over the Commerce tab in the left-hand sidebar and then selecting Donations.

On the Donations page, you’ll see an overview of all the donation campaigns that you’ve created. If this is your first time setting up a donation campaign, then you won’t see any campaigns listed yet.

PRO TIP: Warning:

Although Squarespace does allow for monthly donations, we recommend that you do not use this feature for recurring donations. The reason for this is that Squarespace does not currently offer a way to track or manage recurring donations, so you may end up losing track of your donors and their payments.

2) Click on the “Create Donation Campaign” button

Once you’re on the Donations page, click on the “Create Donation Campaign” button. This will take you to the donation campaign setup wizard.

The first thing you’ll need to do is enter a name for your campaign and choose a start date and end date for when you want the campaign to run.

If you’re not sure when you want the campaign to start or end, then you can leave these fields blank and start taking donations right away.

3) Enter the details of your donation campaign

Next, you’ll need to enter the details of your donation campaign. Here, you’ll be able to specify how much money you want to raise and what you’re raising money for.

You can also upload a photo or video to show supporters what their donations will be going towards.

If you scroll down on this page, you’ll see an option to enable monthly donations. Make sure this box is checked if you want to accept recurring donations from your supporters.
