Can Staff Add Apps Shopify?

If you’re a Shopify merchant, you know that one of the benefits of using Shopify is the wealth of apps available in the Shopify App Store. But what if you’re not sure if an app is right for your store? Can you add apps to Shopify yourself to test them out?

The answer is yes! Any staff member with access to your Shopify admin can add apps to your store. Just go to the App Store in your Shopify admin, find the app you want to add, and click “Add app.”

PRO TIP: If you allow staff members to add apps to your Shopify store, they may inadvertently add an app that charges a monthly fee. Make sure you review any apps that are added to your store before approving them.

Once the app is added, you and your staff will be able to use it just like any other app in your store. You can test it out and see if it’s a good fit for your business. And if it’s not, you can always remove it.

So go ahead and add some apps to Shopify! Experiment and find the ones that work best for you and your business.
