Can Two People Work on a Weebly Site at the Same Time?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 6:16 pm

Weebly is a website builder that allows users to create and edit a website without having to know how to code. Weebly is a great platform for those who want to create a simple website or blog without any fuss.

However, one of the drawbacks of Weebly is that it does not allow multiple users to edit the same site at the same time. This can be frustrating if you are working on a project with someone else and you both need to make changes to the site.

There are a few workarounds that you can use if you need to edit a Weebly site with someone else. One option is to use two different browsers (or tabs in the same browser) and log into each account separately. This way, you can make your changes in one account while your partner makes theirs in the other.

Another option is to use Weebly’s revision history feature. This allows you to save different versions of your site and then go back and edit the one that you want. Revision history can be found under the “Site Settings” tab.

PRO TIP: Weebly does not currently offer a way for two people to work on a site at the same time. If you try to edit a page while someone else is working on it, you will see a message that says the page is locked.

Overall, while it can be frustrating that Weebly does not allow multiple users to edit the same site at the same time, there are workarounds that you can use to get around this limitation. Using two different browsers or taking advantage of Weebly’s revision history feature are both good options if you need to collaborate on a Weebly site with someone else.

Unfortunately, Weebly does not currently offer a way for multiple people to work on a site at the same time. However, there are some workaround methods that allow two people to collaborate on a Weebly site. By using two different browsers or taking advantage of Weebly’s revision history feature, both people can work on the site simultaneously without running into any roadblocks.
