Custom fields can be a great way to add extra data to your Shopify store. They can be used to store information about products, customers, orders, etc. You can even use custom fields to add extra data to your shop’s blog posts and pages.

Adding custom fields to Shopify is a fairly simple process. First, you’ll need to create a new field in the Shopify admin.

To do this, go to Settings > Custom Fields. Then, click the “Add custom field” button.

In the “Field name” box, enter a name for your new field. This can be anything you want.

In the “Field type” drop-down menu, select the type of data you want to store in the field. There are four different field types to choose from: text, number, date, and image.

Once you’ve selected a field type, enter the default value for the field in the “Default value” box. This is the value that will be displayed in the field if no other value is specified.

Next, you’ll need to decide where you want the custom field to appear on your shop’s pages. To do this, click the “Add location” button. Then, select a page or product template from the “Location” drop-down menu.

Finally, click the “Save custom field” button to save your changes.
