Can You Add Hyperlinks in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:06 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, created by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace. It is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Figma has been described as “the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration”.

Figma is a web-based application that allows multiple users to edit the same file simultaneously. Users can leave comments on specific parts of the design, and can see which parts of the design other users are working on in real-time.

PRO TIP: Adding hyperlinks in Figma is not supported and may lead to unexpected results. Use caution when adding hyperlinks and test thoroughly before sharing your design.

Figma supports the following file formats: .fig, .jpg, .png, .svg, and .pdf.

Yes, you can add hyperlinks in Figma. To do so, select the object you want to hyperlink, then click the link icon in the Inspector panel.

In the Link field, enter the URL you want to link to. You can also add a title for the link by clicking the gear icon next to the Link field and entering a title in the Title field. The title will be displayed when you hover over the linked object.
