Can You Add YouTube to Canva?

As a marketer or business owner, you’re always looking for new and innovative ways to reach your Target audience. And with the ever-changing landscape of the internet, you have to be willing to experiment with different platforms and tools to find what works best for you.

One platform that has become increasingly popular in recent years is Canva. Canva is a user-friendly graphic design tool that allows anyone to create beautiful designs without any prior design experience.

One thing that Canva is missing, however, is the ability to directly embed YouTube videos into your designs. That’s where HTML comes in.

HTML is the code that powers the web. And with a few simple code snippets, you can easily add YouTube videos to your Canva designs.

Here’s how:

    1. Find the YouTube video you want to embed in your design.

    2. Click on the “Share” button and copy the link that appears.

    3. In your Canva design, click on the “Text” tool and paste the link into the box that appears.

    4. Add the following code around the link:

    < iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/VIDEO_ID?rel=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen >< /iframe >

    5. Replace “VIDEO_ID” with the actual ID of the YouTube video you’re embedding. You can find this ID in the URL of the video (it will be a string of numbers and letters after “v=”).

    6. Once you’ve added the code, hit “Enter” on your keyboard to create a new line, then type in . This will close off the code snippet so it doesn’t affect any other elements in your design.

    7. Save your design and preview it to make sure everything looks good!

Canva is a great platform for creating beautiful designs, but its ability to embed YouTube videos is limited. By using HTML, however, you can easily add YouTube videos to your Canva designs without any hassle. Give it a try and see how it works for you!

PRO TIP: Please be aware that adding YouTube to Canva may result in unexpected consequences. We recommend that you only use this feature if you are familiar with YouTube and Canva.
