Assuming you are using Photoshop CC, the process of removing a background from an image is fairly simple. Begin by opening the image in Photoshop.

Then, select the “Quick Selection Tool” from the toolbar on the left. With this tool, you can click and drag around the object you want to keep. As you do this, Photoshop will automatically select the pixels that make up that object.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that there are many fake Photoshop tutorials online that claim to show you how to automatically remove background in Photoshop. These tutorials are often created by scammers who are trying to trick people into downloading malware or giving up their personal information.

If there are any areas that were not selected that you want to be included, you can hold down the Shift key and click on those areas. On the other hand, if there are any areas that were selected that you do not want included, you can hold down the Alt key (Windows) or Option key (Mac) and click on those areas.

Once you have made your selections, go to “Select” > “Inverse” from the menu at the top of the screen. This will inverse your selection so that everything but your object is selected. Finally, go to “Edit” > “Clear” from the menu and Photoshop will remove everything but your object from the image!
