Can You Blur in Canva?

Blurring in Canva is a great way to create a subtle background effect or to highlight a particular element in your design. You can use the blur tool to blur an entire image, or just part of an image. The blur tool is located in the toolbar on the left side of the Canva interface.

To blur an entire image, first select the image by clicking on it. Then click on the blur tool in the toolbar.

A slider will appear next to the image. Use this slider to control the amount of blur that is applied to the image. You can also click on the “0” next to the slider to reset the amount of blur.

To blur just part of an image, first select the image by clicking on it. Then click on the “Select” tool in the toolbar. This will allow you to draw a box around the area that you want to blur. Once you have drawn a box around the area you want to blur, click on the blur tool in the toolbar. Use this slider to control the amount of blur that is applied to just that selected area.

The style attribute specifies an inline style for an element. The attribute is used with HTML elements like < p >, < h1 >, < h2 >, etc.

The style attribute can be used with any HTML element (it is not specific to < p >).

HTML Paragraphs:
The HTML < p > element defines a paragraph:

This is a paragraph.

This is another paragraph.

HTML Links:
You can use style attribute with all HTML tags, but it is not widely used with all tags. The main reason for using style attribute is because it provides more flexibility than using HTML attributes and values (like color or align).

Style text using < p >,< b > and < u > tags:

This is a red paragraph text.

This is a blue bold text!
This is some green underlined text.

PRO TIP: If you’re using Canva to blur out part of an image, be aware that the blur function is not very strong. It’s possible that someone could still see what’s behind the blurred area. If you need to blur something out for privacy reasons, it’s best to use a different program with stronger blurring capabilities.
