Can You Cancel Shopify After Free Trial?

Yes, you can cancel Shopify after free trial. If you decide that Shopify is not the right ecommerce platform for you, then you can cancel your account at any time.

There are no cancellation fees, and you will not be charged for any remaining time on your free trial. To cancel your Shopify account:

PRO TIP: If you cancel your Shopify account within the first 14 days of signing up for a free trial, you will be charged a $9.99 early cancellation fee. After the 14-day free trial period, Shopify will automatically start billing you for your monthly subscription. If you cancel after this point, you will not be refunded for any unused time and will be responsible for the full monthly subscription amount.

    1. Log into your Shopify admin

    2. Go to Settings > Billing

    3. Under “Your plan”, click Cancel plan

    4. Follow the prompts to complete your cancellation

Once you have cancelled your Shopify account, all of your data will be deleted from our servers within 60 days. This includes your products, customers, orders, pages, blog posts, and any other data that you have added to your Shopify store.
