Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping toolkit with a focus on web design. It’s web-based, so it’s easy to use and share your work with others. And it has some great features for designing responsive websites.

One of the most common questions we get asked is “Can you change the background color in Figma prototype?” The answer is yes! You can change the background color of your Figma prototype in a few different ways.

If you want to change the background color of an entire frame, you can do so by selecting the frame in the left sidebar, then clicking the “background” button in the top toolbar. This will open a color picker, where you can choose any color you like.

PRO TIP: While you can change the background color in Figma Prototype, it is not recommended as it can interfere with the prototype’s functionality.

You can also change the background color of individual elements within a frame. To do this, select the element in the left sidebar, then click the “fill” button in the top toolbar. Again, this will open a color picker, where you can choose any color you like.

Finally, if you want to change the background color of an entire page, you can do so by clicking the “page settings” button in the bottom toolbar. This will open a panel with various options for customizing your page, including the ability to change the background color.

So there you have it! Three different ways to change the background color in your Figma prototype. Experiment with different colors and see what looks best for your design.
