Figma is free to use, and it has a paid plan that unlocks more features. For our purposes, the free plan is all you need.
To get started, open the Figma desktop app and sign in with your Google account. Once you’re signed in, click “Create New File” to start a new project.
When you create a new file in Figma, you’ll be asked to choose a template. For our purposes, we’ll choose the “Blank” template. This will give us a blank canvas to work with.
Once you’ve chosen your template, you’ll be taken to the Figma editor. This is where you’ll create your presentation. To add a new slide, click the “+” icon in the upper-left corner of the editor.
This will open a new window where you can choose from a variety of slide templates. For our purposes, we’ll choose the “Title Slide” template.
You can also add other types of slides, such as “Content Slide” or “Quote Slide. ”
Once you’ve added all of your slides, it’s time to start customizing them. To do this, simply click on a element on the slide and start editing it. For example, you can change the font or color of the text, or add your own images or illustrations.
When you’re happy with your presentation, click the “Share” button in the upper-right corner of the editor. This will open a new window where you can enter the email address of anyone who you want to share your presentation with.
Under “Share Options,” make sure that “Can view” is selected. This will allow anyone that you share your presentation with to view it, but not edit it.
If you want them to be able to edit it, select “Can edit. ”
Now that your presentation is shared, anyone that you’ve shared it with will be able to view it in their browser. They can also download it as an PDF or PowerPoint file. [related-posts id="213122, 213628, 218174, 211282"]
