A carousel is a rotating set of images, usually three to five, that visitors to your website can click through. Carousels are also known as image sliders or image rotators. Creating a carousel in Canva is easy!
To get started, log in to your Canva account and click on the “Create a design” button. Then, select “Create from scratch” or choose a template that already has a carousel layout. For this example, we will start from scratch.
Next, you will need to add some images to your carousel. You can upload your own images, or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images, illustrations, and icons. Simply drag and drop the images you want to use into the design interface.
Once you have added all of the images you want to use, it’s time to add some text. Click on the “Text” tab in the left-hand sidebar and then click on the “Add heading” button.
A text box will appear where you can type in your heading. For this example, we will just type in “Carousel”.
Now that you have added all of your content, it’s time to style it! Canva offers a wide variety of fonts and colors to choose from.
To change the color of your text, simply click on the “Text color” icon in the toolbar and then select the color you want to use from the palette. To change the font, click on the “Font family” icon and then select the font you want to use from the drop-down menu.
Once you have finished styling your carousel, it’s time to save it! Click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and then select the file format you want to use. You can download your carousel as an image or a PDF.
