Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create a mockup with Canva:
- Choose your canvas size. When creating a mockup in Canva, you can choose from a range of preset canvas sizes, or enter custom dimensions. If you’re not sure what size to use, start with one of the standard poster sizes – A4 or A3 – then adjust as needed.
- Upload your images. Once you’ve chosen your canvas size, it’s time to upload your images. You can upload images from your computer, or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images. To upload images from your computer, simply click the “Uploads” tab in the left-hand panel and select the files you want to add. To choose from Canva’s library of stock images, click the “Search” tab and enter keywords related to your design. When you find an image you like, simply click on it to add it to your design.

Once your images are in place, it’s time to add some text. To do this, click on the “Text” tab in the left-hand panel and start typing out your message. You can also add shapes by clicking on the “Shapes” tab. Simply click on the shape you want to add and drag it into place.

To download your design, simply click on the “Download” button in the top right-hand corner and select the file format you want – JPEG, PNG or PDF. If you want to share your design online, click on the “Share” button instead and choose whether to share by email or link.
