CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language. A style sheet is a collection of rules that tells a web browser how to display a document written in HTML or XML.

CSS is used to style all HTML tags, including the document’s body, headings, paragraphs, and other pieces of text. CSS can also be used to style the display of table elements, grid elements, and images.

You can customize CSS in Squarespace by accessing the CSS Editor in the Design panel. The CSS Editor lets you add custom CSS code to your site and make changes to the appearance of your site.

PRO TIP: While it is possible to customize CSS in Squarespace, it is not recommended unless you are a experienced web developer. Making changes to your CSS can result in unexpected and undesirable results, and can break your site. If you are not comfortable working with code, it is best to leave your CSS as-is.

To customize CSS in Squarespace:

1. In the Home Menu, click Design, then click CSS. 2.

In the CSS Editor, enter your custom CSS code. 3. Click Save.

Squarespace provides a wide range of options for customizing your site’s appearance. The CSS Editor lets you take full control of your site’s styling by adding custom CSS code. With just a few clicks, you can make changes to the way your site looks and feels.
