Can you do perspective in Illustrator?

Illustrator is a great tool for creating perspective in your illustrations. By using the Transform tool and the perspective grid, you can easily create illustrations that look like they’re coming from a different angle.

If you’re new to perspective in Illustrator, start by creating a simple illustration using the default perspective grid. Position the grid so that one of the horizontal lines is at the bottom of the illustration, and one of the vertical lines is at the top.

Next, use the Transform tool to distort the gridlines so that they look as if they are coming from a different angle.

PRO TIP: Perspective can be a tricky thing to recreate in Illustrator. If you’re not careful, your illustrations can end up looking distorted or inaccurate. When creating perspective illustrations, be sure to take your time and plan out your composition carefully. Use reference images to help you achieve the correct proportions and placement of elements. With a little practice, you’ll be creating beautiful perspective illustrations in no time!

You can also use the Transform tool to create perspective effects in other parts of your illustration. For example, you can use the tool to create a perspective effect in the background of your illustration.

Simply position the grid in the desired location, and use the Transform tool to distort the gridlines.

As you continue to use the Transform tool and the perspective grid, you’ll eventually be able to create illustrations that look completely different from one angle to the next. This is a great tool for creating more realistic illustrations.
