As a Figma user, you may have come across the need to duplicate a project. For example, you may want to create a new version of an existing project with different colors or slightly different content. Duplicating a project in Figma is easy and can be done in just a few clicks.

To duplicate a project in Figma, simply click on the ‘File’ menu and then select ‘Duplicate from the drop-down menu. You will then be prompted to enter a name for your new project. Once you have entered a name, click ‘Duplicate’ and your new project will be created.

PRO TIP: If you duplicate a project in Figma, any changes you make to the original project will not be reflected in the duplicate project.

If you need to make changes to your duplicate project, simply click on the ‘Edit’ button and make your changes. Once you are happy with your changes, click ‘Save’ and your project will be updated.
