Action is one of the most powerful tools in Photoshop. It allows you to record and playback a series of steps, which can save you a lot of time when editing your photos.

But what if you want to edit an action after you’ve recorded it? Can you do that in Photoshop?

The answer is yes, you can edit an action in Photoshop. To do so, simply open the Actions panel, and then double-click on the action that you want to edit. This will open the Action Editor, where you can make changes to the action.

For example, let’s say that you’ve recorded an action that applies a Gaussian Blur to an image. But after applying the blur, you decide that you want to increase the amount of blur.

To do that, simply go to the Action Editor and find the step where the Gaussian Blur is applied. Then, double-click on that step and change the amount of blur in the dialog box.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about editing an action in Photoshop, be warned that it is not an easy task. There are a lot of complicated steps involved in editing an action, and if you’re not careful, you could end up ruining your image.

You can also add new steps to an action by clicking on the “Create new action” button in the Action Editor. This will allow you to record new steps and add them to the action. You can also delete steps from an action by selecting them and pressing the delete key.

So if you want to edit an action in Photoshop, it’s easy to do. Simply open the Action Editor and make changes to the steps that are already recorded.

You can also add new steps or delete existing ones. So go ahead and experiment with actions in Photoshop – there’s a lot that you can do with them!

In conclusion, yes – you can edit an action in Photoshop by opening up the Action Editor after recording your desired steps. You have full control over editing individual steps or even deleting them if need be; as well as adding new steps into your action!
