Can You Edit Button on Squarespace Page?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 7:51 am

As anyone who has ever worked with Squarespace knows, one of the most frustrating things can be trying to edit the text on a page. You can add text, sure, but actually editing it? That’s a whole other story.

Or at least, it used to be. With Squarespace’s new Editor X tool, you can now easily edit text on your Squarespace pages.

Simply click on the text you want to edit and start typing. It’s that simple!

PRO TIP: Please be aware that editing the button on your Squarespace page may result in unexpected changes to your website’s appearance. Proceed with caution, and if you are unsure of what you are doing, it is always best to consult with a Squarespace expert before making any changes.

There are a few things to keep in mind when editing text with Editor X. First, you can only edit text that is already on the page. You can’t add new text boxes or move existing ones around.

Second, while you can format your text using the various HTML tags available, not all tags are supported. For example, you can bold and underline text, but you can’t change the font or font size.

Finally, remember that any changes you make to your page will be visible to anyone who visits it. So if you’re not happy with a change, simply hit the “undo” button and it will be reverted back to its original state.

Overall, Squarespace’s new Editor X tool makes it much easier to edit text on your pages. Gone are the days of having to fiddle with HTML code just to make a simple change. If you need to edit text on your Squarespace site, give Editor X a try!
