Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, created by Dylan Field and Evan Sharp, both of whom previously worked on design at Google. It is available on Mac, Windows, and Linux. The software is free to use and offers a paid subscription for additional features.

Figma has been growing in popularity as a design tool, especially among web and interface designers. One of its key features is its ease of use in exporting assets for web development. In this article, we’ll show you how to export a Figma project for use on the web.

First, open your Figma project file. Then, select the assets you want to export by clicking on them in the left-hand panel. To select multiple assets, hold down the Shift key while clicking on each asset.

Once you have selected all the assets you want to export, click on the “Export” button in the top-right corner of the screen. A new window will pop up, giving you options for how to format your exports.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma does not currently support exporting projects. Exporting a project may result in data loss or file corruption. We recommend backing up your project before attempting to export it.

For web development, we recommend exporting your assets as PNG or JPEG files. You can also choose to export your assets as SVG files, but note that this may increase the file size of your project.

After making your selection, click on the “Export” button at the bottom of the window. This will open up a new window where you can choose where to save your exported files.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully exported your Figma project for use on the web. Now all you need to do is add these files to your website or web app.
