Figma is a vector-based design tool that is primarily used for interface design. It’s become a popular tool for web and app designers, due to its ease of use and collaborative features. One of the most common questions we get asked is ‘Can you export Figma as PDF?’

The answer to this question is both yes and no. You can export your Figma designs as PDFs, but they will not be editable. This is because PDFs are not vector-based, like Figma designs are. However, you can take screenshots of your Figma designs and save them as PDFs. These PDFs will be static images of your design that can be viewed, but not edited.

If you need to share your Figma design with someone who does not have a Figma account, exporting your design as a PDF is a good way to do this. The person you share the PDF with will be able to view your design, but they won’t be able to make any changes to it.

PRO TIP: Figma is a vector-based design tool used by designers to create User Interfaces and illustrations. It is not possible to export Figma as a PDF.
