Figma is a great tool for designing user interfaces and visualizations, but can you export from Figma to PowerPoint?

The short answer is yes, but there are a few caveats. First, Figma only supports exporting to .pptx files, so you won’t be able to edit your PowerPoint file in Figma.

Second, Figma’s export feature is still in beta, so there may be some bugs. And finally, not all Figma features are supported when exporting to PowerPoint.

That said, the export feature is fairly straightforward to use. Simply select the artboard or frames you want to export, click “File > Export > PowerPoint” from the top menu, and select your desired export options.

PRO TIP: The Figma to PPT plugin is currently in beta and may not work as expected. Use at your own risk.

There are a few things to keep in mind when exporting from Figma to PowerPoint. First, PowerPoint will not preserve any layer effects or transparency settings from Figma.

So if you have any transparent elements in your design, they will appear opaque in PowerPoint. Second, only vector shapes and text will be exported – raster images will not be included in the PowerPoint file.

Despite these limitations, exporting from Figma to PowerPoint can be a great way to quickly create high-quality visuals for presentations or pitch decks. And with the recent addition of support for animations and transitions, exported PowerPoint files can be even more dynamic and engaging.
