Can You Get Refunds on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:58 pm

When you buy something online, you expect to be able to get a refund if you’re not happy with the purchase. But what happens when you buy a service on Fiverr, and the gig doesn’t deliver what you wanted? Can you get your money back?

Unfortunately, Fiverr’s refund policy is pretty strict, and it’s not easy to get your money back if you’re not happy with a gig. According to the Fiverr Terms of Service, “all sales on Fiverr are final.”

This means that once you purchase a gig, you can’t get a refund unless the seller agrees to give you one.

PRO TIP: If you are not satisfied with a Fiverr gig, you may be able to request a refund through the Resolution Center. To request a refund:

1. Sign in to your Fiverr account.
2. Click on the order that you want to cancel.
3. Click Request Refund.
4. Select a Reason for Refund and click Send.

If the seller does not agree to your refund request, you can escalate the dispute to Customer Support.

There are some exceptions to this rule. For example, if the seller doesn’t deliver the work on time, or if the work is not as described in the gig description, you may be eligible for a refund. But even in these cases, it’s up to the seller to decide whether or not to give you a refund. So if you’re not happy with a gig, your best bet is to try to work it out with the seller before asking for a refund.
