Different footers on Squarespace

Squarespace allows you to have different footers on different pages of your website. This can be useful if you want to have a different contact information or social media links on each page.

To add a different footer to a page, simply go to the page settings and select the “footer” option. From there, you can choose to have a different footer on that page. You can also style the text in your footer using HTML tags.

PRO TIP: If you are using Squarespace, be aware that you cannot have different footers on different pages. This could cause confusion for your readers and could lead to a lot of wasted time trying to figure out where they are supposed to go.

To style text in your footer using HTML, simply add the desired HTML tags around the text. For example, to make text bold, you would use the <b> tag.

To underline text, you would use the <u> tag. And to add a paragraph break, you would use the <p> tag.

Different footers can be useful if you want to have different contact information or social media links on each page. By using HTML tags, you can also control the styling of your footer text.
