Can You Hyperlink an Image in Figma?

Figma is a vector editing software that allows for easy design collaboration. One of its many features is the ability to hyperlink images. This can be helpful when you want to direct someone to a specific website or page.

To hyperlink an image in Figma, first select the image. Then, click on the “Link” icon in the toolbar.

PRO TIP: If you are attempting to hyperlink an image in Figma, be aware that this is not currently possible as the software does not support this feature. Any images that are inserted into a Figma design will not be clickable or hyperlinked. This means that if you are hoping to use an image as a link to another website or page, you will need to use a different method to do so.

A window will pop up where you can enter the URL you want to link to. Once you’ve entered the URL, click “OK” and the image will be linked.

You can also add a title to your linked image by clicking on the “Title” field and entering text. This can be helpful if you want to provide additional information about the link.

Once you’ve linked an image, you can test the link by clicking on the “Preview” button in the toolbar. This will open up a new window with a preview of your design.

To test the link, simply click on the image. If everything is working correctly, the link will open in a new window or tab.

Figma is a great tool for collaborating on designs and hyperlinking images is just one of its many useful features. So next time you need to share a design with someone, be sure to give Figma a try!
